no, your Lincoln Continental is NOT a compact car.
Just because you do not drive an SUV, America, does NOT mean you drive a compact car.
Which means you cannot park in the spaces marked COMPACT in the parking garage.

I wholeheartedly agree. I drive a hand-me-down Buick, and I still don't understand why anyone would prefer that to a smaller car. It's so much easier to park my parents' Honda.

Another difference - you don't (quite) go over your credit card limit filling up the compact.
