bits.

23 people and 1 vegan at Thanksgiving dinner.

28 people and (approx) 15 pies at Thanksgiving dessert. I ate my weight in pie this weekend.

Doritos... and a bun.

Dad is retiring in May. Seems like he's not old enough. Anyone have a job for him?

I drove around all weekend with a nail in my tire. "Here's your culprit," the tire guy said to me this morning. What a great day to leave without my cell phone!

Quote of the weekend: "Dude, I'm almost 30 and I'm sleeping on the top bunk."

Vegans are people too, I think. Unless you meant 23 people including one vegan. Oh well. Sounds like a real feast! How old is your dad? I have a long time before retirement... :(

No, I think she was saying that vegans are not people. I say we picket outside of her blog.

Vegans are people, but Brad is just a figment of a twisted imagination. Who is now pickeing this blog.

Dad is 58. Worked for the gov't for... 30(?) years. I think it's retirement from his first career.

What is a Vegan Thanksgiving dinner?

    Vodka.

So the whole of the erstwhile USSR are Vegans? Cool.

Sounds like you had a good time - also cool.

Music question - ever listened to Imogen Heap?

You list Tori Amos in your musical lists and I think you might like her also. She was the voice of Frou Frou (did a track on Garden State), recorded a track for the OC, and has a new CD available in the US (I bought it from the UK) - Hide and Seek. Just thought you might like it if you're looking for something different.

Guess I could burn a copy and send it through Defruiter, if you're interested.
