why?
Why is it impossible to find a remoulade sauce I can make with the just what I have in my pantry?? Why??

I went for a fancy mayo instead- mayo, horseradish, squeeze of lemon, garlic salt and (not surprisingly) a little Texas Pete for some color.
I was missing so many ingredients it wasn't funny. I changed paths completely-- we had smoked turkey + cheddar on baguette with the sauce.
