beautiful bride, fun parties 2
Another month, another wedding. I'm feeling sad there is only one wedding left in 08 :-(
Joe's sister married the nicest guy this weekend. Now they are off to Tennessee for a honeymoon and Joe's sadness about our "delayed honeymoon" grows ever deeper. Got to know my sister-in-law much better, which was great as she is pretty shy. Wait! I know what will make her feel less shy! I'll post pictures of her on the interwebnets!
The bride and groom share their first dance:

Chocho and the TSO
Monday: Found Cat.
This little guy topped off my evening on Monday:

We found Chocho lingering outside our door, and decided he was homeless. Since we couldn't bring ourselves to leave him loose in the night, HotCop took him over to stay in P-Hars garage. After much soul searching and anxious conversation, we decided to take him to a local no-kill shelter. He's obviously an outdoor cat, and coudldn't coexist with our indoor cats.
Tuesday: The exhaustion begins to set in.
Wednesday: 20th High School Reunion, as Monica called it. Saw a bunch of the old kids to celebrate the departure of a certain former boss.
Thursday: The exhaustion builds. Joe, HotCop, Phar and I go to see TSO.
Friday: Dinner with the cousin who got married last year. It was a Pre-Thanksgiving Thanksgiving.
Saturday: Laziness, laziness and more laziness.

used vs. new
Me: Sigh. I really want a dog.
HotCop: We could always go to the SPCA and get one of those used dogs.

i want to hug a baby panda.

U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Robert Zoellick cuddles a 5-month-old panda cub during a trip to a research center in Chengdu, southwest China's Sichuan province, Wednesday, Jan 25. 2006. The trip highlighted a sentimental U.S.-Chinese tie amid strains over trade, human rights and other issues."For more than 30 years, pandas have been a very practical symbol of the conservation relationship between the United States and China," Zoellick told reporters later, standing beside an outdoor pen as two adult pandas wrestled inside.
