at the top of my to do list: don't have a nervous breakdown.

Four million other things follow it.

THE NOTORIOUS HISTORY OF COFFEE

Coffee has always thrived on adversity. In the Arab world, where the coffee plan was first cultivated commercially in the fifteenth century, coffee was widely consumed by the populace but condemned by Islamic leaders for its supposed intoxicating effects. Coffee was banned repeatedly as it traveled from Constantinople to Venice and then to Vienna and other European capitals. The beans were initially sold by pharmacists and eventually in cafés--which became notorious hotbeds of revolution and enlightened thinking.

You know, like what Anthony Bourdain does. I want me one of them.

Except, on my show no one will be able to hear me chew. I hate how on Bizarre Foods you can hear Andrew Zimern chew. I guess some people think it's more "immersive" but I just think it's gross.

fun, busy weekend.

Not as wild for me, it seems, as it was for others.

Hope you all had fun!

THIS IS COLORADO... GO HARD OR GO HOME!!
